Since it is officialy reccomended by TalkShoe, mostly everyone uses it to insert sound effects in their call. It is also used to insert audio intros and outros that they've customized themselves. Since it can be customized to use a cutomized source, it can work with a VOIP application other then Skype, allowing it to be used over SIP. It is also used to record calls in case TalkShoe loses a recording or to upload higher quality recordings in place of the standard TalkShoe recording. It can also be used to play music while waiting for the show to start.
