Tech Bytes Live is a long running show on TalkShoe that was started on November 30th, 2006 and continues on to this day. The show is an open-conversation type of show mainly with a focus of tech where people are allowed to talk about what's on their mind, which allows for the conversation to be steered anywhere they want. While not taking about anything they want to talk about, they mainly talk about today's news and other subjects such as what's on their minds. The show is hosted by Kain, a person living in Cut 'N' Shoot, Texas who works at a christan radio station where he usually announces when someone else is not there, the show is usally in the Top 100 constantly and is one of TalkShoe's Top Shows. It is one of the shows that made TalkShoe popular, and it has 300 episodes making it the longest running TalkShoe show with the most episodes.

It was originally, an open conversation show where all were unmuted. Kain usually feared that the open conversation would not work out due to some problems involved with open conversation, but Kain show how well Open Conversation could work and so Tech Bytes Live was started as an open conversation show. Throughout the early years, the crew was consisted to be what Kain calls his regulars, the earlier times were considered to be called the happy times of the show. In Mid 2007, most of the regulars left and we were left with a new pair of regulars which would mostly be a part of TalkShoe.

During that time, the Top 10 was usually announced on Tech Bytes Live on Thursdays and ads for GoToMeeting.com aired 30 minutes into the show. The show would be like that until the show ended on August 30th, 2007 for a 2 month hiatus, when the show relaunched. Gone were the ads and the Top 10. The show had reverted to it's original format. Which was the open-conversation and news show it was and it was renamed "KAINS ORIGINAL TECH BYTES LIVE CALL", it's showings were changed to occasional Saturdays, Sundays and Fridays where the show would continue it's run in some obsceurity and rareness.
